Hearty Beef Stew


  • 23 lb chuck roast
  • 45 carrots, sliced
  • 34 turnips, sliced
  • 34 parsnips, sliced
  • 12 cups bone broth
  • 1/4 large onion, sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 T basil
  • 2 tsp sage
  • 1 T garlic powder
  • Other spices, to taste (I used a good deal of Flavor God)


  1. Place all ingredients in a crockpot
  2. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-7 hours, until veggies are soft and meat falls off the bone and breaks apart easily
  3. Add more seasoning to taste, serve, eat!
