Paleo Blueberry Protein Muffins — my first flashback recipe on DYEP!
Made with protein powder and no added sugar, these dairy free paleo protein muffins are healthy and protein-packed. But, more importantly, they’re GOOD. With a light, cakey texture, this updated version improves tremendously on the old one, which happens to be one of the first recipes I ever posted!

I originally wanted to remake these (1) to retake the photos and (2) to see if they’d work with my new favorite protein powder, Equip Prime Protein. (Psst – use code DOYOUEVENPALEO at checkout for 20% off your order!)
I mean, the photos needed a serious refresh. You can go take a peek at the old post if you want to see how horrendous they were. Back in those days, I took my recipe pictures with my cell phone… which was defective and took every picture with a lovely (ahem, not lovely) pink sheen. Glorious, right? But I started somewhere, and that’s what matters!
But when I remade this paleo blueberry protein muffin recipe, I quickly realized the recipe needed a serious refresh, too.
Now, the texture of the finished product is 12093X better!
If you checked out my Double Chocolate Protein Muffins recipe a few weeks ago, you’ll know that I have a new favorite protein powder: Equip Prime Protein. I immediately fell OBSESSED with how awesome both the chocolate and vanilla flavors are.
At first, I was hesitant, given that this protein powder made with beef protein. Soon, I pulled the trigger and finally bought a couple bags. And I’m thrilled. The chocolate Prime Protein tastes like brownies and the vanilla tastes like birthday cake. But they’re paleo. My mind = blown. I seriously don’t know how they pulled it off!
Since beef, not whey, is the source of protein in Equip’s protein powders, I can’t guarantee they’ll turn out the same if you use whey protein.
Soooo if you want to make these blueberry protein muffins look as fantastic as they do in the pictures, pick up a bag of Equip Prime Protein!

It’s the least I can do for you awesome individuals.
